Need your opinions. What to buy?

So since today is my birthday, I received some money from some relatives. My question to you guys is what do you think I should spend it on? I haven't broken much of anything this year so I don't know whats a good choice. I'm also debating maybe just trying to get a couple of Carey Price singles for my PC. Please feel free to give some input as to what you think my best bet would be. What product/s should I buy or should I go the singles route.

Well, if it were me, I'd simply pick up singles I need. However, if you're looking to bust something, it really depends upon your tastes and budget. What were you looking for in terms of a break?

I'm partial to this years ITG Heroes and Prospects. Out of 2 boxes I've pulled four memorabilia cards, two x/9 and two prospect autos. If not that, if it was me, I'd probably pick up singles for my PC.

BTP 06-07 is cheap and fun think I paid $45, if you want a cheap bust O'Canada boxes are dirt cheap and return an auto and a card with a great player selection (My box gave a Sakic sp!) and only cost $33.95!

MVP, OPC, H&P, Artifacts. Any of those fit the bill.

How patient are you with the cash? There's the Habs Centennial set on the horizon--whether it's next week or pushed ahead because of a delay we can't be certain--and that will surely net you some nice PC stuff.

i didn't even think of that. That may be a possibility. Any idea what it'll retail for?

YUP, try ITG H&P or wait a week or two to bust some of the Habs 100th stuff, looks like it will be very hot

I've been told to expect slightly higher than UD1 by two local shops, but as others have noted, with the way the pre-order price can change to the final sale price you never can be certain.

thanks for all your input guys. I think I'm gonna hold off and try and get some of the habs centennial set. If not then I''ll probably try pick up some nice Carey stuff. (Maybe I can finally get his YG)

If I were you I'd spend it on PC singles or a few boxes of 08-09 UD 1, there are NO bad breaks that I have heard of and you will usually get your money's worth. I broke 2 boxes and got Stamkos, Brassard, and Ohie YGs and got a Fat Pack and got a Wheeler YGs. Hope this helps.
