Like most here I pick up the main stream key comics...good reads and key first appearances. This is a Scooby Doo Gold key #1....very scarce and high demand comic. These just don't get offered often and even the low grades sell for over $100. This one is not high grade but I am just tickled to add it to my PC. I have wanted one for a while and decided to finally add it. One of my favorite comics in my collection.

Nice. I have a flea market close by that has a bunch of Woody Wood****** and Donald Duck comics from a long time back. Have not checked specifics yet. This is a nice looking book. Congrats.

Some of the Whitman WWP, Donald Duck, Scrooge, Poopeyes and Battle of the Planets are really rare. Most are from Whitman 3 packs are are scarce. I have several and am always looking for them. I have a post in this section showing off one of the popeyes, check it out. This Scooby is scarce and in any condition brings in bucks. As I mention in my OP ones like the one pictured is a hundred dollar book.

Edit: Stuff like that who cares about the grade! Grab what you can, enjoy it, and you can always upgrade later IF that opportunity ever presents itself... if not, no biggie you still have one!

wow..i'm a novice in the world of comic collecting. But i never knew they made scooby doo comics. I would love to have a piece like that, I can't imagine how fun it would be to read
