Im a proud Canuck, but lets see some USA, Finish, Swedish, Russian etc.....mix it up a little. Maybe no more Canada Stuff and more international, for at least a year.

To UD and Panini.......There are other international teams that play...There are people who like those teams and would like to see them in your products.

As an American..I will speak to Team USA...There are other USA teams besides the Miracle on Ice crew.
Give me J.Johnson, Atkinson, Miller, Quick, Modano, Kane, Suter, Brown, Kesler, Kessel, Parise, Ryan, Stastny, Thomas, Rafalski, Tkachuk, Amonte, Chelios, LeClair, Leetch......and the list goes on

It's not that easy though - you have to remember there are licensing fees and from what I've heard in the past USA Hockey is way expensive. As I recall, even the 04-05 Legendary Signatures Miracle Men didn't have the logos visible

Yeah...I have heard that too about Team USA. Can the same be said for Team Finland, Sweden, Czech, Russia..etc??

UD should now be referred to as the OK company. Overkill at its best. Team Canada, shields... They sure know how to over saturate a market. No wonder collectors can't afford to stay in the hobby anymore

I'm glad people agree with the Team Canada Overkill comment I made above. It was really cool at first, but now its turned into an every product thing which has makes it pretty boring at this point.

I think the worst thing a company has done...this year, has been exclaimated by Panini wit Prime.... ....Every patch SHOULD NOT be this amazing piece, detracts from the cool rare multi patch hit.

Well as long as we keep getting the standard plain white patch from UD products, they market won't be oversaturated with nice patches. Its almost laughable that ITG is accused of this, they have such a small market share that "oversaturation" isn't exactly something you can claim about any of their products.

I was a huge fan of game used from about 06-07 to 08-09 when they started putting team marks and number marks and all those other ones that just took the value out of them. Now I am intrigued by this thread and may consider picking up a case when it comes out. But we shall see.
Also, I do agree with the rest of you about the shields. Now you can pick them up for cheap. I have one in my possession that I can't even sell for half of what I bought it for because there are sooooo many coming out. They (UD and Panini) should put them in 2 products each and switch them (the products) every other year. Mix the players up too so that you dont have the same players with 5 shield cards year after year. One or 2 Crosby shields every other year would definitely keep the value up.
And I second or third or fourth the Canada cards statements. Proud Canadian, but don't overdue it!
Anyhow, that's my 1am rant. Thanks for reading.

It sucks when I hit a white patch, but it is always nice when a multi-coloured patch garners more attention......I dont mind hitting a white patch the odd time for this reason.
ITG products are much different to UD and Panini, due to the arrangements made by the NHL and NHLPA; I give them a pass on this forsure. Im assuming the comment was just a general one. Regardless, I stick by my original point.

Haven't liked SPGU since it's 2nd year (00-01 is still one of my favorites), but if this comes out at $125/box - I break two or maybe three boxes...$150/box - I break zero.
