When I saw this come up, I new it would probably be out my price range, so I forced myself to sell some cards I had thought I would never sell. But I can now say, it was definitely worth the trade off. Especially considering the fact that the chances of seeing another one of these pop up any time soon is awfully low. Anyways, thought I'd share it. Thanks for looking.

congrats on the pickup. the old stuff numbered that low are just things you have to grab when you get the chance.

Great addition!!! Sometimes you have to bite the bullet when you see a card pop up... Like you said, who knows if you will ever see another. Thanks for the peek. Mike

Very nice pickup!

Those golds are real buggers for sure...I still need the darn Holmstrom from that set...and that one is #d /96!!

have you seen any other Tkachuks over the years? curious as to why the 8/10 is hand numbered... replacement perhaps?

I believe the gold version was numbered to the players' jersey number UNLESS, their jersey number was under 10. My only reasoning for this is that I've seen a Lidstrom (who obviously wears #5), and that card was also hand-numbered out of 10.

was more referring to hand numbered vs. machine numbered. all the Lecavaliers I've seen are machine numbered.

From what I've seen over the years, the players with print runs over 10 were all machine-numbered, and all of the /10s were hand-numbered. Here are a couple of examples...
