NEW Edge Jersey Swatches?

Hey guys, just going through some recent eBay wins and one of my Rick Nash Black Diamond Red Quad jersey cards looked odd and in closer inspection, it seems to be part of the new Edge jerseys. The 3 lower level quad jersey cards I got all have the old jersey material, as does the St. Louis I pulled myself last week.

I guess my question is, is this the first product we are seeing the change over to new 'stock' or have they popped up before?

I've seen the new RBK jersey swatches being used in products as early as Artifacts, UD 1, and Fleer Ultra. Mind you I only paid attention to Alex Edler cards, he didn't have any GU stuff prior to this year, so I assume UD finally bought a jersey to cut up. I have a 3 colour patch (Blue, Silver, Green). That's ONLY found on the shoulder of the new RBK jerseys or on the alternate jerseys.
