New record for late mail!

For all of those who are having to wait for cards I just had one come in with a new record. Card was mailed on 12/29/2009

My old record came this year also at about 3 and a half months!! I already pm'd the other party as we already worked out alternate cards but that is unreal!

That's just ridiculous. You're lucky the package didn't find it's way into to the mailman's collection.

Funny thing is I marked it as a loss. It wasn't a high dollar card and when I got the package it was unopened so I have no idea where it went. I could see if it looked like it went through the wash and it showed up but the thing looked brand new. I'm happy it's here and my streak is still alive of not losing a package on HI!!!

I had one earlier this year where the other guy sent the wrong card, realized his mistake, and sent the correct card out a few days later.

The correct card arrived 2 weeks before the incorrect card. It was magical.

I mailed a card to texas and it took 3 months to get there from Florida! What the heck happens along the way? Do you think once a year the carrier cleans out their vehicle and says "hey, whats this package wedged in the seat?"

Laugh as you will but I had a package that was shipped from the US that went awal only to show a couple months later with a postmark from Jamaica. The package wasnt opened and the card was fine. It did have a nice tan though
