The staff here has noticed a large influx of sellers who are listing items for sale on HobbyInsider, but may only have been on the site for a very short time. To ensure that sales are completed in a safe manner, HI has put together this new selling policy (and added to the Member Expectations thread):
If you are a seller with less than 10 positive CREDIBLE feedback and not yet a verified trader, you must sell your items either COD or sent to a third-party with 10+ feedback to forward onto the buyer with tracking. If you choose to use a third party, they will receive the cards from the seller and verify the cards are intact and correct, and will then advise the buyer to pay for the items. The third party will then forward the package onto the buyer, again with tracking. The cost of the tracking will be determined between buyer/seller and the third party will be reimbursed fully prior to sending on the item. Third party participants at this time include quincy and meatmancgy.
If you are trading cards between members where one or both members have less than 10 feedback, the third party system can be used again where both parties send to the third party, and upon receipt of both sides of the trade, the third party will forward on. Again shipping tracking must be used.
