New "Set Collectors" Forum with Sub-Forums Created in the Hockey Area

After taking into account all the suggestions in this thread based on Superdoup's original suggestion (thanks for that, 'doup) a new Set Collectors sub-forum has been created in the Hockey Area.

Under the "Set Collectors" forum are the following sub-forums:

1. Upper Deck Products
2. In The Game Products
3. Panini Products
4. Modern (2000-2013) Products
5. 90's Products
6. Vintage (1910-1989) Products

The UD, ITG & Panini forums are for products released during 2014 and forward. Once we get into 2015, we will move the 2014 product threads into the "Modern (2000-2013) Products" forum and change the name to "Modern (2000-2014) Products". And so on each year. This will effectively make the current year products "sticky". At that time we will also delete the Panini forum as those threads will have moved into the Modern forum. If/when Panini starts making hockey cards again we will revive it.

Seems like the best way to do this is to restrict threads to one per set. Members can then go into these threads and post up the singles they need. Box and Case breakers can then look at the appropriate thread and see who needs what and PM's can start going back and forth. Members in the No Trade group will not be able to access these forums.

The "Set Collectors" forum itself is only to be used for thread requests. Once the requested thread is created in the appropriate sub-forum, the request thread will be deleted. Only mods and certain other designated members will be able to post threads in these sub-forums to ensure they remain streamlined and organized.

I view this as a dynamic process in that the setup or rules in this forum may change as we see how it is being used and as suggestions arise. So while we are in the early phases, please feel free to make suggestions, in the Feedback, Suggestions & Questions forum on how it can be improved. Or post in this thread.

With respect to the existing Set Collectors/Base Exchange forum, perhaps it will die a slow death and be removed eventually. Or it could be used for other sports...but come on, who am I kidding...:devil:

Note that the Game-Worn/Used sub-forum has been moved out of the Hockey Area into its own section in The Show.

• Any card you need from a product should be posted in that product's thread. We will only be adding one thread per product. So parallel sets, inset sets whatever - post your needs in the product's only thread.
  
• These threads are for posting needs. Please do not post "PM Sent" or "good luck" or "I have these...". Instead send a PM.
  
• All members have been given the right to edit their posts in these forums. So once you have added cards you can edit your post to remove cards you now have.
  
• When you post your wants, please indicate if you are only buying or only selling or either.
