New to football hobby

Hey guys,

I'm new to the football hobby (I'm mainly into Hockey) and am wondering what the hot products usually are from year to year... there are so many products out there and I'm wondering where to start. What has been released for this year and what will be the hot products coming out over the next few months?

Not much has come out by this point with the season not yet begun. Some of the staple products that have already been released are Topps, Leaf Rookies & Stars, Donruss Classics, Donruss Elite and Playoff Prestige. A few newer products as well in Topps Magic, UD Philadelphia, UD Heroes and UD Draft.

The bigger products are all yet to come. The year to year staples are Spx, SP Authentic, Playoff Contenders, Playoff National Treasures, UD Exquisite, Topps Chrome.

It depends on whether your interest is rc's, legendary players, autos or memorabilia cards. Each product offers things differently and for a drastically different price point.
