Lafreniere's hype will be based on which team drafts him. If he ends up in Arizona or Carolina you could be looking at Jack Hughes prices. If he somehow ends up in Montreal, Pittsburgh or Edmonton he could start out at the $100-$125 USD range or more.

If we are talking purely “release day” pricing, he will be at that price no matter where he is. Jack Hughes was fetching I think around $75-$80 US on release day. But if Lafreniere ends up somewhere like Montreal or Toronto, I think it easily is $150-$200 out of the gate.

Lafreniere in Mtl, with the french-speaking aspect, it would be a crazy year for the hobby. Probably close to Matthews level.

The next UD1 could be a dud depending on the timeline of events. There's a lot of uncertainty right now even around finishing the current season much less starting the next one.

For the Young Guns, yeah. But I hope UD can spice things up a bit for S1 to be decent. We will see... Not sure how much new content they'll be able to put in last minute, if any at all.
