I actually like the guy. Didn't at first, but he grew on me.

He is far from the problem, but a fresh start could help.

I am pretty sure it wasn't him that was giving up the puck in the slot over and over and over. These guys need to get their heads out of their wallets and start to play the game with some heart and anger. When they do, they are a night and day team.

Move him to forward and most of the problems with him are solved. I think it was proven by the Hawks that the guy cannot play defense, but move him to forward and he is a beast. I can't believe they left him back there for this long, how many goals against can be directly blamed on his mistakes?

Paul Maurice is 43 and has been fired 3 times already, twice by the same franchise. Is he really the best available choice?

He will be .500 win percentage coach for the rest of this season at best. Winnepeg is just too...contractually laden still. The big contracts are the ones you play but they aren't alway the best players out there.

THe best of luck to him and the Jets Franchise. They are a decent group of players that always seem to be at the bottom of the rung of their division. They have always had better talent than that.
