Hey everyone,
Yesterday, I went to the Expo for the day. I think it's safe to say that it's going to take a lot to top it as my best Expo ever. I met a lot of great members (You know who you are!) during the day and it was topped off by being invited to the Diamond Club Summit by Chris Carlin (Thanks again Chris!) at CloutsnChara in Kitchener with special guests Johnny Bower and Red Kelly. It was unbelievable to have lengthy conversations with all-time Leaf greats like them. I even got a tin of the Cup signed by them. I also got a picture taken with them at the end. At the end of the event, a raffle was held for around 25-35 boxes of new product and the Diamond Clubbers cleaned up in that to say the least. I took the Upper Deck bus back to the hotel with about 8 Diamond Club members where we talked about the hobby and the opened product for the better half of the ride. The Diamond Club members were extremely nice and generous during the ride, giving me a lot of their "unwanted cards" from the boxes that they won. My Upper Deck redemption was the Steven Stamkos Team Canada Auto /5 which I made a trade/sale with Geoff for a box of Contenders so I could participate in the Panini Redemption Program.
