Not to be a jerk but can someone else take over

This is in no way a knock on dherm because I"m sure he's busy. But could anyone with more time who's active (I'd be a candidate because I have a lot of free time and am constantly on my laptop), be allowed to run this.

p.s. I can't state enough how this isn't an attack on dherm, merely a fact.
 
I really dont see how letting someone else take over would help at all... It not dherm fault, its the people who are not drafting the players fast enough (even if they are loged on)

dherm could have pm's from everyone but the fact he hasn't been on in three days makes me think that he doesn't really have time for this.
 
This drafting is going to take way too long.. we should have just been chosen with random teams..either keep the teams and start trading... or protect 2 players and randomly switch rosters with each team.
 
i think starting out with a team is fun. i would love the challenge of starting with a bad team. ex.- Hawks ior Clippers and turning them into a contender
 
newman and philly- That was my original intention when I began the mock season. To take a team and make them the most improved was the goal. But, noone seemed to like the direction it was going when we did it the first time.
 
Now that I consider it, starting out with a team fully intact and then trying to transform it into a contender might be a better idea. Also, that way everything would get moving quicker as we could bypass the draft and all of its hassles.
 
personally I don't like it as well. we are doing that on another site (many of you might already be involved)- when you get a cruddy team, nobody wants to trade with you. or nobody trades much at all. about 1/2 of the people didn't ever log on and trade. what's the fun in that?
 
I dont know it just seems like if people want to do this we should draft like we did last time. I'd volunteer to take PM's from everyone stating who they wanted in the order they wanted them. We'd give people 3 days to get their lists in and at that point I'd pick a player for them.

ps in regards to starting a team, how would anything really change? No one would trade Al Harrington and Josh Smith for Tracy McGrady, bad teams would stay bad.
