o/t.This is what a blizzard warning looks like

Nice!
not that heavy yet.
Looks like fun.
But I love watching snow fall.
When it comes to shoveling, not so much.

So that's what I just drove through. Took me over an hour to get home from Winnipeg - usually takes 1/2.

It was ice pellets on the way in, which really wasn't so bad, but complete white out on the way home. Had to keep my car in the ruts left by others to get home. Just didn't have the ground clearance to drive anywhere else.

You guys are going to call me nuts, but I'm jealous! We've finally got some decent snow locally here, and I'm hitting the slopes on Monday. But I'd love to just be able to walk out my front door into snow. I need to move to the mountains :)

Your right Mike, your Nuts :p

Here in good ole Minot, North Dakota we have had freezing rain for the past few hours, so it is quite slick outside, supposed to turn to snow later, but then again, they said it would be snowing all day, so who knows. I'd rather have the snow anyday over this ice crap

Boys boys....go to Superstore, and buy a couple of those giant bags of salt. De-icing is for chumps :D I just spray salt all over my walk...no ice forming on that stuff....of course, my walk is the colour white for the remainder of the season...
