For my Vancouver Giants "Best-RCs", I grabbed a Dominion Lance Bouma and Tomas Vincour, followed by a Cup of Jon Blum and Tomas Vincor - once I have the Bouma Cup RC, I'll try and decide which ONE is the best for each of them
In October, I picked up a few more cards for the Vancouver Canucks RCs collection. 05-06 Rookie Update Maxim Lapierre, 12-13 Artifacts Rookie Redemption (Connaughton? Schroeder?) and a 06-07 Hot Prospect Michel Ouellet.
I also grabbed the 11-12 Crown Royale Kassian, the Dominion Eddie Lack, the Titanium Eddie Lack and Cody Hodgson
Let's interupt this with some soccer, here's a 2011 Upper Deck MLS Materials card of Canadian Athlete of the Year from Burnaby, BC, Christine Sinclair
Back to hockey, I picked up some cards for the player collections, here's some Gelinas
90-91 Topps Black Front, and 97-98 Dynagon Bluex2, Dynagon Copper, Dynagon Red, Invicible Red, Pacific Ice Blue x4, Omega Ice Blue and 2 00-01 Titanium Game Gears /255 and lastly an un-numbered Adrenaline Premier Date.
Only two picks ups for the Steve McCarthy PC, 99-00 Dynagon Copper Unnumbered and an 02-03 BAP First Edition Big Show Promo.
Over with the Alexandre Burrows collection, I had better luck picked up the 11-12 Dominion Jersey (Blue and Green), the Prime and the Brand Logos. The massize 11-12 Dominion Sweeter by the Dozen card [as an aside, in the last year, I've picked up a card "celebrating" the Canucks SC Finals loses in '82 (Snepsts), '94 (Linden) and '12 (Burrows) because card makers think that the team that loses wants to be reminded of the loss.... Le sigh.] Also shown are 11-12 SPGU Authentic Fabric "A" with a green swatch, 11-12 Prime Trios Jersey and Prime Trios Jersey Prime and the OPC Black Rainbow and the Black and White.
Before I finish, I'll show more Canadian because I can, here's autos of Donovan Bailey, Jean Beliveau, George Chuvalo, Paul Henderson, Margo Kidder, Dave Thomas and Larry Walker. Dual Memorabilia of Corey Haim/Tyler Labine and Steve Yzerman/Scott Niedermayer and Mega Memorabilia of Scott Niedermayer (Team Canada) and Terry Puhl.
and we can finish up with Trevor Linden. Here are the 90-91 Topps Blank Front, the 03-04 ITG Action Chicago Show Promo, the 05-06 Artifacts Blue 16/75, the 11-12 Cup Enshrinements. Following that is the 11-12 Cup Rainbow of Base/Gold and Black. Next up is the 11-12 Heroes and Prospects Heroes Memorabiilia Silver, two more Ultimate Memorabilia silvers /63 and some 12-13 issues starting with the Artifacts base, emerald and blue, the Artifacts Emerald Patch x2 [I've kept the first one and the second one is available] and the black auto /5. Lastly I'll finish with the Forever Rivals Jerseys Red/Silver and Gold and the Silver Patch.
