Old 97-98 Game Dated Moment pickup

Sometimes very old saved ebay alerts do come through. This came up for what I think was a very low buy it now a little while ago and I had to pick it up. For those of you that remember this was a very confusing insert parallel from 97-98 UD that had everyone thinking they hit the jackpot back then.

I'd never seen one in hand before but it has that shiny black diamond foil look to it which is nice.

The UD Game Dateds that year are a close second to Leaf's Fractal Matrix for the title of Set That Confuses the Most People. Gorgeous cards, but poorly explained.

One of my best pack pulls that year was a Sergei Federov jersey card AND a Wade Redden Game Dated card both in the same pack. I remember almost missing it due to the big Federov card in front of it. Nice cards, tough to come by. Thanks for the post and walk down memory lane.
