The last few months have been extremely slow on the TTM front. I think I've reached the point where the players remaining on my list are mainly difficult-to-find former NHLers, some of whom seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth without a trace. Also, my attempts at TTM via the KHL has not produced a single return in 7 months..a bit frustrating.
So while visiting home for Easter, I decided to be unusually proactive, and headed out to Rogers Arena for the Canucks practice to try getting signatures from a few of the new team members. The players must have been in a good mood because I had a wonderful morning with plenty of successes! Of the 7 players I was hoping would sign, I got 6 (everyone except Bonino)..awesome!
Some guys such as Lack and Tanev even pulled right over to take pictures with some other fans.
Anyhow, all those customs will be displayed in another SnT thread in future. For now, I just wanted to show one that I'm particularly happy with (he is a pretty tough signer after all):
Radim Vrbata! Certainly (in my opinion), the most exciting Canuck this season so far, and probably one of the top FA signings from the last off-season.
Super awesome that he signed in the perfect spot, and the perfect size. I was very fortunate as I was the only person who got a signature from him that morning!
