Going to make this an ongoing S&T.

Finally received a big COMC shipment today. Man what a haul. The aroma of vintage…

I normally don’t buy graded unless the price is right, or I’m having trouble finding one I need. These have all been cracked open already. Sacrilege, I know, but I ant to store my sets in card savers and 4 pocket pages so it works for me.

Really love 60/61 Topps! Such a cool design.

54/55 Parkies. They really have a neat feel to them. They’re on a slightly thicker stock than typical of that era.

59/60 Parkies

61/62 Topps on the left, the Gump is 57/58.

Some 60/61 Parkies.

61/62 Parkies.

54/55 Topps. Inching closer and closer to completion on this set.

A whole whack of 62/63 Parkies.

That’s the show. Hope you enjoy!

Wow, a lot of really nice looking cards in there. I only have a few vintage cards from this era that my dad gave me. Nothing as spectacular as that though.

Man, those look amazing. I love them all.

I wish I knew/understood more about vintage but I just don't know the vintage cards well enough to think of adding these to the collection. Well done. They all look terrific.

What a show of vintage goodies.

Those 54/55 Topps are my favorite as well.

Dang Ron, your attention to detail when landing these vintage cards is incredible. The vibrancy of the colors, the centering, and edges....just amazing! And when you put them all together like that, collectively they have a real minty feel to them!

These are just the kind of posts I enjoy; they remind me of the fun of collecting, the essence of the hobby!

I can't wait to see the next batch!

Thanks for all the compliments folks! I'm having loads of fun with my 21/22 OPC project but the vintage collection, it's just something different entirely. Thinking about a card being printed in Canada in the 50s/60s and now in 2022 lands in Pittsburgh...it's something!

Been a little slow on the vintage front lately but did get a nice stack of 54/55 Parkies in recently I thought I would share.

Wow, this sure takes me back to my roots of collecting. 60-61 Parkhurst were the first cards in my collection, sad to think I have none today. At any rate this thread is amazing, thanks for posting this Ron.
Cheers.
Dan.

I’ve always loved vintage… and you are absolutely putting on an amazing display…. As I said… your collection is incredible!! Cheers!! Paul!!!
