I've been hunting a Seider OPC Retro blank back since release. I've come across one, but having a tough time nailing down a fair value on it. I traded for a Neon Green /50 some time ago for around $200 usd (before his value dropped). I've since seen 3 other copies of the Neon Green listed, but not a single Blank Back. I've read in years past that Blank Back rcs could be limited to less than 10 copies, however, the highest comp that I've seen on one is a Brady Tkachuk @ around $35 usd?

The Blank Backs are definitely more rare than the Neon Green but they aren't very popular. So while they are harder to find, they will likely sell for the same or less than the Green /50

Blank Backs are super popular from what I find. Some can go for big $$$ for player collectors.

I didn't even know they released Retro Blank Backs in the OPC Update stuff? Learn something new every day I guess.

At the Expo I saw a Crosby black back from last year sell at $300 without any hesitation of negotiation.

I have to say that all the Luongo blank backs have cost me more than I thought they would. But I think its mostly player collectors driving it up. Doesn't seem to have appeal otherwise

It's weird, some players will sell well with Blank Backs and others not... and whether the player is a star or not has nothing to do with the demand. I've sold a Tavares blank back (in a Leafs uniform) for a fraction of the price of what I sold of some scrub defenseman a few years back (maybe Ladislav Smid or someone like that?)

ive picked up bobby ryan blank backs for as low as $5 and as high as $20......and I would have gladly paid $20 if needed for the ones I got for $5

Never underestimate those scrub collectors.
