Hi all,

So, I was at a local comic shop on Sunday picking up some comic toploaders. Now this shop sells cards as well but normally nothing but older Topps baseball base series products and newer UD Hockey - however, this time something caught my eye.

In the case they had 2011 Draft Picks & Prospects hobby packs. I was shocked. I guess they had a box in the back and found it recently (I was there about 10 days ago, these were not out). I gasped at the price - if I told you what I paid for these you wouldn't believe me. Let's just say they were an absolutely amazing steal. Like, criminal almost.

So, now my question is - I have 24 sealed packs. No sealed box as they were in the case. I have a listing up on eBay but really not sure if I want to sell (of course if someone hits the BIN I will follow through)

So, do I open? Or do I sell? Keep sealed for later sale? What would you do?

Thanks!
Dave

Loose packs are hard to sell due to people fearing repacks, searched, etc.

I'd say just open and hope you hit a harper or whatever is the chase card.

Well I decided to open them - and well, yeah that may have been a mistake but hey, whatever. The total cost on these packs was $68 - $2.50 per pack plus tax. Just wish I had hit a Trout or something else.

Hit a Forsythe orange /25, 2 autos, and some of the other stars (Baez, Rizzo, Perez, Snell) but nothing huge. Oh well.
