I have a friend who has a complete set of the 1997 Zenith Dare To Tear 5 X 7 cards that have never been cut.
So they all still have the small card inside the 5 X 7.So two questions.Should he cut all the 5 X 7 in hopes of
getting a nice insert. Or sell it as a set and let someone else do the cutting. If he sells it as is (uncut) what
would be a fair price for a complete set.PLMK

I've never had any desire to own the 5x7's... and I'm sure others would agree.

If the small cards could be Z-Golds rip them!!!!

Sell it uncut. Cut cards go for very little, and the chances of getting the golds is slim - I seem to recall that they were preferentially seeded in the silvers.

Absolutely no win to open them - the upside is in the sell.

I am not versed in the selling points - but there is no way he comes out ahead opening them.

The Z-Golds are interesting and have unusual seeding. I got two of them in my one box I opened of the stuff a few months back and they came out of the regular base 5x7 cards, not the insert 5x7s. Ended up tripling my money back on the box price just for the Z-Golds.

What did I do with the oversized cards after I opened them? Right into the recycle bin.

Thanks for all the opinions.I have been telling him to leave them uncut. But the idea that one of those gold Z-Teams may be hidden inside is quite enticing. Thanks.
