So I bought a book of Original 6 images from member @crowncarrier that a collector had used to get auto's from oldtimers. Lots of HOF'rs.

My intent was to keep the book together but a book doesn't present well, and I wanted to get these awesome images up on a big wall I have in my office. So learned how to mat and frame and went about getting the auto's all buttoned up. Mats are acid free, acid free tape, with UV glass and metal gallery frames.

I don't share much if ever but thought some of you might get a kick out of this.

I actually added to the book as well, sent out a few TTM and added a few duals by adding Hull to a few images. There is also another wall with 10 more images and I still need to hang a few.

Hope you guys enjoy!

That looks absolutely incredible!!!! I’d love to do something like that with my loose autos... just curious.. roughly how long, how much on average did it cost per picture to do this? Cheers!!! Paul!!

Great work man! I do the same with some of my prized sets. It really helps give the office that “man cave” feeling right? Some nice photos you have there!

Thanks guys!

CardBoardkid - about 40 bucks for the 11x14's I think. I buy all my stuff from matshop.ca. I use the conservation mats, acid free tape, acid free foam backer and the metal gallery style frames. About half the price of using a frame shop and it is really quite easy to do, and IMO looks much nicer then the thick plastic frames most of the shops use for sports stuff. I have lots of that stuff hanging and like it, but the gallery look to me is much cleaner.

Dude, looks great. So glad these are being shown off. I can guarantee the fella that collected all of those autos would be so happy to see them shown off like this. I do not know the guy personally but i read up on the guy and he was quite the guy. So glad I sold you these and you are showing them the respect they deserve.

Very happy to hear you say that! I actually intended to keep the book intact but just wasn't able to really enjoy it. Cost a small fortune to get these all up on the wall but pretty happy with the result.

Yeah that just looks amazing like that. Very constant from the materials standpoint and very random from the placement. Really catches the eye. Congrats.
