I still think 'Regiment' was a perfect name. Right colours, logo, and a connection to all things Canada. Maybe when they come back for a fourth time it will stick.

I tend to agree that Regiment may have been spot on, but RedBlacks is pretty close too. I like it.

But hey, just great to see the CFL coming back to the nations capital for the 2014 season.

Now the league just needs to find another locale (Quebec City, Moncton, Halifax) to make it a 10 team league. :beer: That way we can finally have Winnipeg back in the West!

Exactly... one more Eastern team at least... solidify the league at 10 healthy teams, that would be great. 5 West, 5 East... true East-West Cup final. I think they plan to do it... just need time.

Heck... it could be 6 and 6 someday... QC is a lock, maritimes... if a city can get their act together, then out West... Van Island need a team? VCT-VCR, CGY-EDM... SAS-WPG. TOR-HAM, MTL-QC, OTT-HFX/MCT... rivalries in the East and West. Then no byes... top 4 in each conference goes to the playoffs.
