Ovechkin Young guns

I have noticed a spike going up on PSA 10 Ovechkin's cards since he hit 600. I figure if Crosby is worth a 850.00 raw what will Ovechkin's be in near future? I think there is a lot more room to grow. I was watching one of his auctions and got outbid the last second it had 61 watchers.

sidenote: I was watching NHL on the fly and there was a story on him and he talked about his career so far. I really enjoyed it made me a fan of him. He is heck of guy!

I agree he is relatively undervalued compared to Sid, except that he is not Canadian nor is he a winner. I love the guy and hope he can raise Stanley before he hangs'em up and that his cards garner a little more long-term respect.

I think there is room to grow but I don't think it will touch Sid's YG. He'll need to win a cup before he retires though. I hope he does!

Yea I think it is growing right now I do not think it will be a 850.00 card ever, but I can see it being 300.00-350.00 raw one day. What is not to like about him. If he ever wins the cup maybe it will be more then we think. Sky is the limit in my opinion. 600 goals and counting. I looked at his playoffs, he has made the playoffs 9 out of 12 seasons, not too shabby!

I do think Ovy's YG has room to grow, but how much is the question. It's the unfortunate hobby fact that he's Russian and not Canadian or American, and throw in no Cup and he's not going to even get close. But still very undervalued imo, and I am a huge Ovy fan. Maybe someday if he wins the Cup (and I hope he does) the card MIGHT reach $450-500.
