Lately i have seen many post with no overseas shipping?
Just wondering why ppl are offering like in my case Swedish players for sale but no overseas shipping thats crazy in my opinion.
I collect swedish players and see many cards i would like to buy but cant due to the shipping issue.
Shipping to sweden is around 4-8$ and its safe i would say.

I have been buying and trading and selling for 15 years and i have lost 2 packages to can on that time and 1 package not recived thats about it so it cant be about loosing packages.

My question is why dont you sell european player cards to europeans?

Ive sold a handful of cards to Sweden the past few years and never had a problem.....sorry youre having difficulties....

It's nothing personal on my end but the last 3 items I shipped outside of North America 2 went missing. One to France and the other to Australia. I paid out of my pocket because I didn't pay for outrageous tracking. I still offer shipping outside of North America but it's pricey.

I think most people here will ship to Sweden, or other overseas countries if you ask them, unless they've had past issues? I've heard Russia has had some issues in the past. I don't know how many overseas members we have, but I have no issues sending there if asked. I think it is just an oversight by most of us, as we think most members are from Canada, and the USA, plus we are familiar with shipping costs to Canada, and USA. Unless they specifically say no shipping to overseas, just ask would be my advice. I sent one to Sweden two days ago to a member off the orange board, and the cost was $5.90 Cdn, plus tax. The funniest stuff I've seen on here was a US member posting they will only ship to the USA in their sales thread. Ummm...isn't this board Canadian owned, lol! Jeremy, show them the beaver????? :D

I have shipped to Russia, Finland, Sweden, Germany and the Czech republic with out issues. The only places I have had any issues were to France and it's holdings.

Thanx for your input and i do ask if they ship to sweden if not mentioned but still alot says no.
And i respect that just wondering whats the diffrent sending from us to can or vice versa then sending to sweden for an example as the cost is not an issue.

I ship regularly overseas. Some of my best customers are from there.

As I stated above, most sellers don't know the cost, so they don't list it. A lot of it has to do with some sellers asking for price, and then when you take the time to run to the post office, and get a quote, some don't even reply back, or politely decline. Run back, and forth a few times a week for nothing, and it doesn't take long to say screw it.

Yes, it happens, and it annoys me to the fact that when I sell other stuff like Mcfarlane figures, where the shipping depends on the location, size of box, and weight, I require a small deposit, or I won't do it. 9/10 times I've packed up stuff, drove it to the post office for pricing on a couple different shipping options, and even use my Venture One business card to save them 5%, to not even get a reply back. Tired of people wasting my time. If they are serious, they will leave a $5-$10 deposit. The actions of some ruin it for everyone.

Shipping from Canada to Europe is a factor for me. It is $6 to send 1 card from here and if u send a lot and it is over 200g it is over $20. It is not worth it to trade when paying that much shipping and traders in Europe do not realize or care that it costs us this much.

Last spring I had a couple of complaints via e-bay for charging $3 for shipping to Canada. Now started selling again with s&h $4, actual postal costs being around $3.50-$6 for a single card overseas. Looking forward receiving next low ratings for shipping. I'm not really keen on selling anything, but trading is nowadays quite difficult.

I agree...I usually don't advertise shipping to Europe on my Ebay listings but recently have sold a couple to winning bidders from Germany and Finland. Shipping starts at around $6.75 from the USA and goes up pretty quickly after 2 ounces...and like you say, the Ebay buyer will most likely hit you with a low rating for shipping. It is a no win situation. The same thing happens when shipping to Canada. To cover my expenses, I need to charge at least $6.75, but then people don't buy because the shipping $ is too high. It would be nice to be able to blame the post office, but in reality it is our Congress who imposed all of these monetary restrictions on the post office which forced them to raise rates across the boards...thanks again to our politicians who screw us regular folks in every way possible!
