Really thought Ovy was going to end up with 48 goals for the regular season, but that hattrick was clutch. Here's hoping the Caps can perform when it matters now.

Onto the card: I recently acquired my old white whale (but a better version I've had my eye on since it was first broke). Really surprised I had another chance to acquire this card. I used to knock on all doors cash in hand for it. Without further ado,...

I saw a BIN; hit it and contacted the seller to make sure it was real. I am still in disbelief that I won it for what I did. I offered almost 4x that many many years ago on 4 of the 8 copies I knew of. At that time, everyone told me I was not close to their number.

How the hobby has changed. I guess looking at 05-06 Cup and prices for cases (never mind unsearched cases now), this was a no brainer. Much like how I viewed buying the 05-06 Crosby/Ovy Dual GU Rookie Shield.

Yeah! I've seen all of them since the beginning (and before all the patch faking nonsense); this was my favorite one that surfaced way back in the day. So sad to see so much of 05-06 Cup pieces that are altered. Makes me a bit sick. Hence, this card feels extra special.
