Been selling hockey cards on eBay for years. Top-rated PowerSeller and all that.
As a whole, buyers in the hockey market are great. Every so often I have the urge to do some baseball and football and I when I do, I quickly remember why I stick to hockey. For whatever reason, the buyers in those sports as compared to hockey are 100x the headache.
Anyway, I have a buyer who sent this message to me today:
"According to your tracking info it says item was delivered, not true. I haven't received the item so you need to check it out."
So I check the USPS site and as he states, it shows as delivered in the zip code of his residence. My question is, what responsibility do I have as a seller to follow up on this? How can I (located in MD) check on some random package (delivered in CA) 3000 miles away that shows as delivered?
