Padded mailer Pricing Within the USA has gotten Stupid!!!!


Just completed a Facebook Sale - One card well protected .6 ounces in a padded mailer
from Michigan to New Jersey........ $7.50??!!!!

4 days to deliver!
I can send UPS for $7.95 with 2 day delivery.
This makes it impossible to sell lower end pieces.

For what it's worth I can usually send with PayPal shipping a little less than $5 - lots of people praise Pirate Ship but I have never tried it.

Shipped off 2 bubble mailers myself today, $7.80 each.
A little over 1 ounce each.
Was told there is a holiday increase, but would come back down after
the holidays. Go figure.

how do you ship? Post office or other means. Like frenchconnection I just use PayPal shipping and it around $5.

The only account I have but it saves on shipping. If you are around for the long haul the dollars will definitely add up. I will do a screenshot the next time I send something to show the savings.

Does PP shipping only work when you use G&S Paypal?

I would say No. I ship stuff that is not even paid with PayPal. So, any other questions just ask.

Yea the shipping charges these days can certainly discourage deals. This hobby is a shell of it's former self.

Update to this story, just read that USPS shipping rates going up starting January 18th.
about 7 %
