Came across this video on the PSA group page, and wanted to see what everyone thinks of the results? Like the jeweler says in the video, this doesn't mean that Panini purposely used a fake diamond in this card (if in fact it isn't real by his test results), but could have been sold to them this way, or could have even been swapped out whomever put these in the cards. Not accusing anyone just putting out possible scenarios as to how this could happen. I mean these are what $100 stones at best, so doesn't seem worth the effort to use fakes. Still, this comes back on Panini no matter how it happened. Can we trust any companies any more?

aren't these supposed to be manufactured diamonds? I seem to remember reading that these were not "real", but "manufactured" diamonds. Not sure what difference that would make in the test , or for the value of the diamond.

No Paul, these are suppose to be real as per the post by Panini, I think vegaspuck posted that? They are not lab diamonds. I don't think they are of top notch quality, but real they are suppose to be.

Maybe they were rediamonded :whatthehell:

Funny how they are using cheap pen to give this verdict.

Cheap pen, or not the diamond he tested on one of the cards lit up green, as did the diamond on his own ring, so that pen has some credibility, IMO.

Maybe I was thinking of the Black Diamond cards that UD did last year. Must be getting old, can't keep anything straight in my mind anymore, or so my wife says. lol
