Things just weren't going my way today. After finally getting to bed at 2 am last night, work woke me up with a production problem at 6 that has kept me busy all day. My wife dropped her laptop and cracked the screen. Not only is that going to cost us some money, but now I have to share my laptop until the replacement part comes in. :|
This redemption came in today from Panini and was able to put a smile on my face. I had received an update from Panini a couple of days ago that this card finally shipped. I had a 1 in 10 chance of getting the copy I was looking for and didn't have much hope that the package held the one I wanted.
The front had a meager 2 color patch
but luckily the back made up for that...
This card, from a Stanley Cup Themed set, is numbered 09/10 for one of the 09/10 Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks.
It fits perfectly with these other 2.
I haven't seen a Patrick Sharp yet (either live or in redemption format), but would be looking for the 09/10 copy if it's made.
