The trophy auto set is way too shinny!!

Then again everything panini has put out this year has that shinny aspect.. Well except score
 
Those Back to the Future cards should picture the Delorian. With the Legend riding shotgun. I would put that set together. Seriously though those are some nice cards.
 
Love the look of the trophy autos. The blue ink really pops. Wish Selanne and/or Hawerchuk Calder made the checklist though (next year?).

I love the concept, but hate the execution. I don't need excessively shiny cards, nor was I around in the 90's and early 2000's to now pine for them either. It looks like the space for the autograph was an afterthought. Also, while many of us can recongnize the award from sight, naming the award on the front would have been a nice touch too. I really liked the Stanley Cup Champions set in Dominion, well designed and executed. If Stanley Cup Champions is a goal, this set is a blocked shot.
 
i like the trophy auto's and i REALLY like how Leetch recognized the aesthetic value of signing the card horizontally.i hate vertical sigs on cards!
 
I disagree with anyone saying these cards are TOO SHINEY

there is no such thing as too shiney

LOVE the trophy cards Panini. i may be attempting to do my first ever set. im pretty stoked on this, ive been waiting for the right set to attempt, this just may be it, im going to have to wait for the checklist first though.
 
I agree that we needs more Chrome cards and with refractor, we really needs more SFX cards from 90's because it's too many plain and boring cards now!

I just hope that my PC guy has any card in the set....but I don't think so...
 
Since we're kinda talking chrome and refractors here, I would expect to see Panini do a Prizm line on the heels of the smash hit in basketball, and decently received football versions. Some sort of element like that would be fun.
 
I know the lead time from season start to release is incredibly small, but the neat concept Net Card that has Suter still pictured with Nashville just took the wind right out of the sails.
