Panini Prizm soccer, no need to "Bale" me out on these boxes

World Cup is on the horizon, which means the soccer portion of my hobby interest is awakening. I was anxiously waiting for Panini Prizm to arrive, and so on Friday I went over to Andy's and bought 2 boxes. So many parallels and so much color, brings back memories of opening Pacific boxes in the 90's. :laugh: I don't claim to know what all of the parallels look like, but they sure are pretty. This series has a 300 card base set, and I'll still need 121 of those if I choose to finish off the set. The 2 boxes that I opened were awesome in my opinion, I'll leave the best cards to show at the end.

Something that still sticks with me from 2014 is the sense of awe I had looking at the magnificent stadiums that were used in Brazil. It looks like Russia will be no different, they even have one stadium that is meant to look like a spaceship. Great pull on the Bale.

I am still chipping away at the 2016 euro Wales cards, myself and 1 friend have pretty much the market on them in the UK.

What would be better would be if they actually sold the product directly over here rather than having to chase it from North America and Asia.

Still great looking cards.

Being a massive Spurs supporter, the Eriksen and Bale would def. be my top two faves. But I do see a sprinkle of stuff in there like the Davinson Sanchez that look fantastic as well.

Also, I managed to do some trading and was able to complete the base set of 300 cards.

You absolutely KILLED it on the second batch of autos. Not a fan of stickers, but you got the best striker in the world, a Mexican hero, a multi auto card with one of the most exciting players in the world, which is also signed by "the Hand of God" (see what I did there?) and lastly, one hard signed by arguably the most popular and successful player of this generation.

Yeah, it was quite a run Rob, I opened the box with the Ronaldo auto in the store, and I think the owner was almost more excited than I was. :laugh:

I'd heard of the "Hand of God" goal, but I had to look it up.

This stuff was so much fun to open! I'll definitely be first in line at the LCS in 2022 for the next World Cup. I just got my package from COMC today, so I'll be firing up Book Creator to show the set that I built.
