It seems like so often that we get involved in our own collections that we at times forget to help out our fellow collectors. This goes across the board in all sports. I would like to try something that might bring the site together a bit more and unify the community we have.
I am proposing a PAY IT FORWARD event. The way it works is that I will start by listing some cards I am willing to let go of. Anyone willing to participate can select any card that they like. I will send it to the FREE, under the stipulation that you must offer up a list of your own to others so that they may choose and pass it on.
Try to keep it fair folks...if you want a 15.00 card, fine, but dont offer up a load of base or 2.00 inserts. Take what you want, but offer something similar. Someone may also see something that they would like and it can spawn side deals. Those are fine, but keep the pay it forward related ones to this thread and anything else to its own thread.
This might work and it might not, but I think its worth a try. I request that you post if you have agreed to send something to someone. I'd like to see how far this can take us. Try to post multiple sports so all of us can interact with each other.
I will update with who has sent to whom, though the specific card doesnt really matter as long as the 2 involved are satisfied.
I will start my offering here and post again with a list of what when from whom to whom.
