PayPal help my friends

Hey there,

I got a PayPal question,

when You use PayPal, is there anyway to get Your money back
if the seller does not send You what You agreed to?
Like an insurance?

I have been using PayPal for the last few years but
this I dont know. I usually just hit "confirm payment"
and then I leave PayPal.

Yes. File a chargeback. You are entitled to receive what you paid for.

Or can I pay like I always do and then, if I dont get the item,
talk to PayPal and get my money back?

Sounds like this process takes a long time, anyone experienced it?

I've never filed one, but you should open up the transaction page. Then click on "Resolution Center" at the bottom. On the next page, click the box for "Open a dispute", then click continue. Then click on "I received my item, but was significantly not as described". and click continue. Just keep following along like that, and you should be good to go. It may take a couple of weeks for PayPal to investigate and send you your money back (if they find in your favor).

Here's some horror stories from past expierence.

If in Canada or USA and shipping to the other. You must provide actual delivery confirmation which costs about 15$ xtra just showing that it went through customs isn't enough.....it must show that it arrived at the destination.

Also beware of empty package mailers.....people that send items just with delivery confirmation on the package but an empty package. If that happens call Paypal and talk to them.....depending on the situation they may refund your money without opeining a case.....no guarentee just know it has happened.

Bottom line is if there is any dispute at all call paypal and talk to them over the phone and they will point you in the right direction or even start the process for you or even settle the matter then and there. I've unfortunatley gone through it way too many times and been on the short end more than once.

I used to sell on ebay and still buy and have been doing so for the past 10 years.
I still get amazed at the ways people try to rip others off.

I heard you can get you money back quite easy...paypal belive me buyer more... for some reason =/
