holy cow..I have been uploading high res scans to photobucket for 2+ years for insurance purposes. I occasionally like to "s&t" from time to time but thats a moot point now unless I want to pay $400 a year..:noreply:
Sadly i had to buy a new pc a year or so ago and have lost about 1500 scans and that is what brings me to this question, before i reinvest my time and rescan everything, what picture hosting website would you recommend?
I've heard imgur is pretty easy and i opened an account and bulk loaded a hundred or so images. I've also heard flickr is dynamite but one of my kids used my email to open their account there so I have to contend with that first. Is there any i'm missing? Seems like a lot of work to have a show and tell capability. I'm assuming I can still link photobucket and send collectors there to negotiate trades and such. Also I know I can still upload new pics to the old insurance bucket.
What are you doing to combat this issue? what do you like and dislike about your photo hosting site?
thanks for the input
