Pitkanen to CAR for Erik Cole

I think this is probably the best player (value wise) the Oilers could have gotten for Pitkanen.

Cole is a very consistent scoring winger and will be a huge asset for the Oilers.

I just hope he can stay healthy.

And hopefully Pitkanen continues his streak of being completely uninterested 9 out of 10 games.

Because if he plays like he's capable of playing, Oilers lose this trade.

He's also terribly injury prone and an unrestricted free agent in a year.

I do like Cole though. If he can stay healthy, he's certainly a top 6 winger. His style is starting to wear him down a bit though.

Love this deal if Cole stays healthy. Pitkanen....Thought he was going to do better than he did last year........time will tell
