are there any good sites for player specific checklists, so I know what has been issued both NHL and minor leagues??

I used SportsCardForum's Inventory Manager. It's a great tool that tracks players cards over the years and I'd highly recommend it. Probably the best tool out there for what you're looking for.

I've also used Beckett in the past. It's not perfect, but the main issues are there and it should be more than enough to formulate a decent player checklist for the player you're looking for.
