Players who were better in the second half of their careers?

Watching David Perron, and he's really taken off over the last several years. Can't really think of anyone who has been noticeably better in their later years.

Personally, I don't consider a guy like Lidstrom, who was always great but never recognized.

Curious to see other examples!
 
I think Johnny Bucyk. Up until Ovi broke the record this season, he was the oldest player to record a 50 goal season. His early seasons were good, but his best seasons were in the second half of his career.
 
Pavelski is having his best years offensively since arriving in Dallas. I would also guess Chris Krieder is on the last half of his career.
 
I have no affiliation with the Blues but would like to re-iterate how good Perron has become. He's been all over the place this game.

Regular season PPG age 19-28 - 0.57
Regular season PPG age 29-33 (current) 0.89
