Again, same as the others...

Who would you chose as coach of the year if the season ended at the All-Star Break?

Please don't base your vote on your favorite team, but who you feel actually deserves the reward based on their coaching this season. If you want to vote for someone not listed above, please write in your vote below and if they make it to the top 5, I'll put them in for the final vote.

here is a list of all coaches:

Atlanta Hawks Mike Woodson
Boston Celtics Doc Rivers
Charlotte Bobcats Bernie Bickerstaff
Chicago Bulls Scott Skiles
Cleveland Cavaliers Paul Silas
Dallas Mavericks Don Nelson
Denver Nuggets George Karl
Detroit Pistons Larry Brown
Golden State Warriors Mike Montgomery
Houston Rockets Jeff Van Gundy
Indiana Pacers Rick Carlisle
Los Angeles Clippers Mike Dunleavy Sr.
Los Angeles Lakers Frank Hamblen
Memphis Grizzlies Mike Fratello
Miami Heat Stan Van Gundy
Milwaukee Bucks Terry Porter
Minnesota Timberwolves Flip Saunders
New Jersey Nets Lawrence Frank
New Orleans Hornets Byron Scott
New York Knicks Herb Williams
Orlando Magic Johnny Davis
Philadelphia 76ers Jim O'Brien
Phoenix Suns Mike D'Antoni
Portland Trail Blazers Maurice Cheeks
Sacramento Kings Rick Adelman
San Antonio Spurs Gregg Popovich
Seattle SuperSonics Nate McMillan
Toronto Raptors Sam Mitchell
Utah Jazz Jerry Sloan
Washington Wizards Eddie Jordan

As I said before if you want to vote for someone not on the list, then do so. there were only 10 spaces for me to put up there.
Also, it is not just how much their team wins. But what they have done with them. Big deal if Rick Adelman or Don Nelson are winning games, of course they are going to- they have some of the best players and have been winning for years. They aren't doing any better than in the past.
You have to consider what the other coaches have to work with.
I mean **** Carlisle has done pretty good considering his star players were suspended. (no brainer)

just say who you would vote for and quit complaining about nothing.

lol-
I find it interesting that you are sports talk moderator.

apparently you know how to read....
this thread is completely fair, I made it so that all coaches are actually nominated - this is just to see who the top 5 are so we could vote on them. no I am not an expert on coaches, but I'm not going to spend any more time arguing with someone who thinks they are a god to the sports-talk-world. Please find another thread to waste your breath and voice your lack of maturity. That is not what this one is for. If you don't want to participate, you don't have to. :)

As for Casket, SportsCardsEct, & Eric Draven ~ thank you for your votes

(see, it's not really that hard, olajuwan  )

Looks like I forgot to add in my *sarcasm* on the second post I made. Seemed evident to me, guess not.

Why don't I get a thanks? I voted :( Mine went to McMillan, just a hint of advice for future polls. I usually put an "other" selection, and invite people to elaborate if they so please.

As for me being a god, wouldn't say I am there yet. God no, demi-god yes.

no, it wasn't evident, I guess I'd have to know you to have noticed... sorry. ;)
the demi-god sarcasm I got though :D

in the future I will put an "other" - thanks for the idea.
