I'm pleased as punch. Just went off to the post office to mail some packages to family across the country. My uncle is a social worker and he rents out his first floor duplex to a nice family that he's helped get back on their feet and there's this one kid there who really loves Carey Price. He's also the only other person in my "family" who collects hockey cards. Long story short, I sent him all my base and doubles a a few nice hits for vintage Montreal players. I'm also looking for a TTM Carey Price auto if anyone has one.

While at the post office, I bought a pack of those "hockey card" style stamps. 15$ for 15$ in postage + a 1/50 chance to pull an auto. You can't beat those odds. No one else but me buys from the box (3 months and only 4 packs gone).

Well, today, out pops this beauty:

I'm pretty sure that paid for my postage and then some.

Cheers,

i pulled one too they are awesome in hand and i dont think a lot of people realize the size of the stamp.
cant beat the price especially when you get all your money back in postage and each pack is the set.

These are actual Canada Post stamps and I've used them since they've come out. 2 boxes worth - no autos. But, 0 money out as I mail cards to the US all the time and each stamp covers $2.50 of the approx. $2.80 cost. Picked up the Orr auto a few months ago from a board member just so I had one - would love to find the other 3...

They are called a souvenir sheet, but I think that's to stay away from any licensing issues with hockey cards. Plus, after you peel them and affix them, you still have the sticker 'back'.

So yeah, can't beat it for a deal, if you have to send out items with $2.50 in postage or more.

I have two of these off the bubbler mailers from HI members sending me cards, God the USA sucks, first the NHL draft gets interrupted by US Outdoor track, then I find out I find out you can buy stamps with autos at the Post Office in Canada....

Great stuff Canada, great marketing!

Nice hit! I pulled the Harry Howell Rangers auto and sold it for $96 US on eBay. If I happen to pull the Orr (the supply is dwindling), I'd be keeping it in my PC.
