Potential Steal?

Gold for sure :) Would be a nice pickup if someone can get it at that price
 
I'm not so sure it's gold. The reason I say that is the table is gold also. The whole pic is Gold. It might just be the pic. Either way it is a steal at that price. Mike
 
Potential steal no more... I emailed the seller and he got it from his friend for $5... Turns out that it was gold... Sometimes you have to do the right thing..
 
Ya, thats a steal for sure!. When i was looking for trade bait just before Christmas I bid on a silver one and i think that it went around $10. Not to positive, but im pretty sure.

Don't worry Bruce, I'll make sure any seller with a mislabeled Datsyuk card WILL be notified so they don't go too low!! I know someone would do that for me. :rolleyes:

Not to be a prick Vic but how exactly would it be taking advantage of a seller??? If something is really cheap should we e-mail the seller everytime to see if they know everything about the card? Or put in a snipe and hope for a nice deal on a card? Just throwing it out there not trying to start a fight! :)
 
For all we know... Bill made the seller an offer to end the auction early. I wonder if this Zetterberg will end up on his tradelist soon. :confused:

Jay, I was thinking the same thing. Let's all make sure that if any Datsyuk cards show up on ebay with a low starting bid we all email the seller what the Beckett BV is. Mike
 
See the funny thing about all of this, I see 3-4 members on here that are considered the best members on HI... Thats the funny thing, I would expect more from all of you. The whole point of this is if it happened to you and you found out about it you would feel bad. I didnt get him to end it early for the point of adding it to my tradelist and thats a pretty low thing to say...

Oh and i'll tell all of you the same thing I said to MGiuseffi1969 in his PM.. Im a player collector, I dont want other people finding "steals" for me. The first mistake in all of this was making a post, if your so concerened about this steal then take it, because obviously with you guys its about money and thats all...

Bill, is it time to climb off the high horse?? If you are such the dedicated player collector why have you tried to sell the darn thing 15 times over the last year? I would have thought you sold that collection 5 times over by now?
You are the type that gets a rise out of sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong and probably loving every minute of this thread and all the attention you are getting!!
I thought you left this sight (yet again) just a few short months ago? Or was that beckett (yet again)?
 
Bill didn't do anything wrong per se, but hopefully he wont complain when someone does the same thing regarding a Datsyuk card, right?

I change my life on a daily basis I just turned 18 and have no idea whats going on in my life. Point is, if you havent noticed the influx of Datsyuk's ive had coming in im here to stay...

Im the kind of type that gets a rise out of this? Thats were you wrong. The whole point of this is ive NEVER bought a mis labeled Datsyuk. Some of the big guns on this site, not naming names (but a couple of you are in here) have stacked your tradelists on these types of steals with no regard for the seller. When I get steals they're on cards that are listed completely, the seller is aware of the value and theres usually a picture.. find any card on my website and I can tell you the price I paid or what I traded.

If were discussing high horses for a minute lets talk about charity on this or any other site. How many of you just randomly send cards to player collectors expecting nothing in return except some Datsyuk base? How many of you Big Players pass on a steal of a card you already own? Of course you guys can try to make me the bad guy in all of this and thats fine.

I'll say one thing to that, im done.. all of you have shown your true colors.... I'll stick with beckett, atleast theres a higher class of people over there.

Oh yeah and any of you Big Players, consider me done collecting because I will NEVER buy, sell or trade with any of you again..

Since you have never taken advantage of a "Steal", please explain your PM to me. Here is a copy of it:
"The WHOLE point of this is if you see a steal you take it, you dont make a post. Second if your a player collector your sure as hell are gonna see a steal before the "bunch" does. Do me a favor and not worry about Datsyuk... ive got it covered.."
Isn't this proof that you are guilty as the rest of us in taking advantage of bargains on the bay. Mike

Lets go through this piece by piece shall we!
1. No one changed the subject you brought up the "I'm a player collector" to MGuiseffi so I added into the subject.

2. About your newly acquired cards, I honestly don't care because more than likely you'll have them up for sale in the coming months.

3. As far as you getting a rise out of it I'll stand by that statement! Maybe if you did it and not said anything that's one thing but to post you e-mailed the seller you are looking for attention be it good or bad. You also say you never bought a mislabeled Datsyuk? How do you know that each person you buy from has an idea of the price of the card he/she is selling? Maybe you should e-mail every one of them before you bid just so you let them know.

4. Who are you to talk about charity?? How do you know what every person on this board does? If I were to guess I would say 95% of the people on this particular board including myself just mails stuff out to people not expecting ANYTHING in return. Pretty narrow minded of you to judge everyone as a whole!

5. Last but not least I can only hope you are done on these boards Bill because frankly I'm pretty tired of the same old song and dance from you...
