My project is to collect a rookie, auto and patch card from Canada Olympic and World Cup teams.

Curious as to your thoughts of who you think will be on the 2022 team.

My thoughts thus far:

Definites (i.e. even if they start season poorly, they are locks :

Crosby
McDavid
McKinnon
Bergeron
Marchard
Price (if healthy)
Makar
Pietrangelo

Almost certain (i.e. need to keep up their performance from last season)

Point
Huberdeau
Marner
Shiefele
O'Reilly (checking line C)

Reilly
Hamilton

Bubble (i.e. need to improve even more this season):

Stone (unsure if his bad playoff round will inpact)
Couturier (maybe we have enough checkers?)
Tavares (? won't need a scoring C, can he play checking role vs key faceoff guy?)
Barzal (do we need him when we have McD, McKinnon, Crosby)?

Doughty (guessing they pick for experience)
Chabot (I'm a Sens homer - concerned about his defence)
Morrissey
Nurse
S. Theodore
Ekblad (is he more of a stay at home guy?)

Fleury (if picked will be backup)

My Wild card picks:

Hyman (if he signs with EDM and plays with mcDavid, will he be like Kunitz to Crosby on the 2014 team?)

Parayko (need someone big to clear the net)
Chychrun (honestly know little about him, but seems to get some attention0
Muzzin (I hate the Leafs, but he's a damn steady D-man)
Pulock & Pelech (were really effective in playoffs for NYI)

Hart (if he goes on an absolute tear to start the season, if picked only as #3 Goalie)

Thoughts?
