I doubt anyone caught the reference in the title. We'll see. Anyways, on with the show. Lotta stuff, and I wanna be fair to all of it.
Let's start it off with some Ladies o'Trek!

The movie was awful, but the auto set is nice:
Epic badassery from a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away:
And speaking of badassery, a great villain who doesn't deserve the craptacular show around him:
Really. He does wonderfully villainous things.
All right, it wouldn't be a mailweek without some LOTR:
Now, on to one of the real highlights of the week. A couple weeks back, a fellow collector knocked on my door so to speak. He was letting a few PC items go, and would I be interested in giving them a home. Well, the items in question are some of his amateur work.
Amateur is derived from a Latin root, amator, meaning "lover". And these are clearly the work of a man who loves the subject matter. I am pleased and privileged to add these fine pieces to my collection:

...zzzZZZOOOM.
It was a great show, especially for the day. Unfortunately, it's hard to compete with the first war ever broadcast on all major channels plus cable.
I've always had a soft spot for the big blue Boy Scout:
And of course, Mr. Cool - Bill Cosby:
Not my first choice of show. I'd have gone with I Spy, but that's me. WAAAAAY back in the day, the Cos wrote a song with the legendary Quincy Jones. Did pretty well too:
