So this is clearly UD's replacement to Panini's Prime that will be a product driven by the collectivity of huge patches, but the detail to rookies kind of sets it apart a bit and brings back memories of the 02/03 and 03/04 versions (and great successes) of Premier.
Not to derail the purpose of the thread, but what is anyone's opinion on what this does to Ultimate? Understandably Ultimate isn't really in this price point, but this was the product that kind've replaced Premier way back a decade ago. Recent releases of Ultimate have been relative flops. Not necessarily quality wise, but no release since maybe 10/11 has really retained any "box" cost compared to it's original price point. Does the reemergence of Premier start to seal it's fate? Clearly SPA, SPGU and possibly Ice and Masterpieces (have to wait and see) will seem to dominate this price point range. So are we going to see the end of Ultimate in the near future?
