Preview: 2020-21 UD Series 1

The release date has to be pushed back. The 2020-21 season is not going to start at regular time. Their is no way that they can proceed with this weak of a rookie crop for Young Guns.

If they do, they are going to need more then French parallels to sell this product.

This is really all there would be in terms of notable YGs, and obviously none of them are truly big ones. That said...can you imagine how loaded UD2 would be?! Haha.

Do9 you think the PA would make an exception to produce YG's before they actually play, in order to get the big boys in?

Even if they wanted to make an exception, there is currently no date for the 2020 NHL draft. The current draft lottery also assumes the next round of playoffs will be complete. If for some reason it can't, then they may have to re-think that as well. Even if it goes forward, we're probably looking at a September or October draft. The biggest Young Gun is often the #1 overall pick.

That said, there are probably more than enough prospects who haven't debuted and are currently in organizations to put together a normal Young Guns checklist, but as Hammerhawks said, it may not be likely.

Some cool and different things in there. I like the color over b&w of the Predominant, and I'm a sucker for international players and their native flags in the Worldwide. The Portraits? Ooof, that's a rough one.
