I saw a few really cool cards at the expo and have been browsing on ebay a bit but I'm completely clueless to pricing. Is there a magazine or a site that has book values on cards? I feel brand new all over again, this is the same problem I had when I came into hockey collecting where I paid full book on common jerseys.

I have an idea of what I would pay for the card but I would like to know if I am anywhere near what its actually worth. Anyone have any info on where I could find some pricing info?

I have the last two copies of Non Sports Update (combined those two issues give you the full price guide) that should give you the pricing you need. E-mail me or call me and I'll help out.

What's the card? Some of the non-sport collectors may be able to give you some ideas.

NSU is great, but much like Beckett or Tuff Stuff or whatever, the prices are not always that accurate. And BDU comes out every other month, so timeliness may not always be there.

If possible, go by ebay as much as you can.

NSU is WAY worse on secondary market pricing than Beckett and we know how bad Beckett can be on that.

Its good as a checklist ref of sorts but other than that, its high priced TP.

It's going to sound ridiculously weird but I used to love watching the Three Stooges as a kid. Walking around the expo I saw these really old vintage cards that was based on the shows. The set was from 1959, not sure which it was. I'm just looking to see what they'd be worth. Now that I know the name of a good magazine I'll look into picking up one first.

If you look, you'll find memorabilia cards from the Stooges too. I think there's a worn tie card and worn shirt cards from them.

Right now, I'm trying to get my hands on a triple memorabilia card from the Wizard of Oz (yellow brick road, Scarecrow straw and Cowardly Lion hair). There's some seriously sick stuff out there...

See if you can find some of the Breygent stuff. They released a regular 3 Stooges set and an Update set. Both had some cool memorabilia cards while the first one had some nice autos.

As for the cards you saw, as with all vintage cards it's all about the condition. It appears that the NSU price guide has them at $9 a piece. There are a few cards with different backs, and it says that cards 1, 2, & 3 fetch a small premium.

A quick eBay search returns some higher, but it looks like a lot are graded as well.
