I would open this up to see if anyone knew what the true difference was. I know the patch's are usually bigger or better than the prime. But, what makes it a patch and what makes it a prime? What truly a the prime jersey cards of like what part? Anyone willing to help me figure this out would be great

Thanks,
Chris

I'll see if I can break it down.

Jersey - standard one color jersey material. However, cards like the camoflauge warm ups were also considered "jersey"

Prime - Anything that is not one color standard jersey swatches. This could be seams, multi-color portions of jerseys....and even patches.

Patch - Sewn on patches from a jersey.

Technically, any patch is considered "prime"....however, not all prime are "patch". A little confusing...I know.

With "Prime" releasing soon, you can pull a card like this:

so a prime is basically better than a jersey cause i may have multi colors or seams and a patch is usually from the sewn on parts ex. the crest or numbers/ nameplate

LOL very confusing haha but thats how they get thier customers with names like that haha

I understand that prime is sometimes a patch---but can patch also sometimes be a prime? I have a card that is labeled patch on the swatch window, but its actually a prime piece of jersey.

I was under the assumption prime meant 2 or + color jersey or 1 color patch, but rarely, or never when it's a patch is it more than 1 color.

I've seen many primes with solid patch pieces but never multi color patch peices, just multi color jersey.
