Printing Plates In Hockey Packs

Anyone know the first product to have hockey printing plates in packs?

I think it was 1997-98 Pinnacle

I don't know about hockey but my first printing plate if I remember correctly was an Alonzo Mourning plate from 1997 Stadium Club basketball.

Same here, back when plates were rare. And we got the backs of cards, too! I think both Pinnacle and Pacific did backs.

If it wasn't 97-8 Pinnacle, it was 97-8 Topps Stadium Club.
