"Property Of" Lecavalier

I think that makes it sooooooo much cooler than a clean one.

A clean ones like, 'ya, he used the stick, whatever', but this ones like, 'ya, he musta beat the heck out of this stick for a looooong time'.

Wear and tear marks > no wear and tear marks.

I'm digging this one as well...

I had the Brodeur one and it was a bit worn as well and really liked it!!

looks like he baked his stick along with his skates lol
cool card, though i am not even going to bother bidding

I agree...wear and tear rocks, but that's not even stamped. the name is handwritten....and shoddily at that.

Ya, I took a better look at it (the IER at the end in particular) and I noticed it's handwritten. That definitely detracts from it in my opinion.

Nice card but I would like to know the story behind the handwritten name?

Depends on what year it was from, or the circumstances. I have seen it before when a player switches manufacturer and they do not have custom sticks made up yet. Also some players do not get sticks custom made, or the name is taped over so the equipment guys writes the names on the sticks.

Its a nice card. The rough shape may increase appeal. However, I will agree with the other poster.....I would take a whole auto game used stick...:)

The real question is whether akcat pulls this one into his pc as well as he's been buying these property of's and paying big bucks for them as well!!

I actually think the opposite of most of you guys...I like the fact it is hand-written. That adds to the mystique of the card, rather than having just another stamped piece of stick you could buy at Sport-Chek or Canadian Tire.

It's simple really. Upper Deck is now going into Kindergarten classes and getting the kids to print on pieces of wood that they will insert into cards claiming game used. It was a game for the class after all! :owned:

Or......

Vinny got a new bundle of sticks from RBK to try out, and the ones he chose he put his name on and kept, thus giving the winner of this auction a true 1/1 instead of another 1/1 stamp that will be produced 15 more times in the next few years...

I'm a "glass is half full" kind of guy...

lecavalier uses CCM vector 10 and have possibly moved on to use the U+ sticks.
he used nike before but never reebok.

Okay, okay...that wasn't really the crux of what I was trying to accomplish with my post, but thanks for pointing that out...I'm not so much a fan of his that I know what equipment he uses...

But here's a pic I found...which is why I used RBK...
