Here's hoping he does pan out for you(and your kids). Would be cool if he becomes the next Ichiro/Pujols/Trout, etc and say look at these big money cards I own. But at the same time, it's going to suck for your wallet.
For me, Whitley could become expensive but for Martin, he'll either not make the MLB or just be a number 3/4/5 starter or relief pitcher which would mean, cheap cards or no cards at all.
